Prepaid Gift Card Terms and Conditions

§ 1. General Provisions

1.1 These Terms and Conditions define the general terms of the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card program, in particular the activation and use of the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card (hereinafter also referred to as the "Card").
1.2 The issuer of the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card is Onix Sp. z o.o., Zakrzewo 32, 64-212 Siedlec, registered in the business register under KRS number 0000151373.

1.3 The Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card program is conducted at all points of sale within the Ostoja Chobienice facility, Chobienice 166, 64-212 Siedlec.
1.4 The Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card program commenced on March 10, 2020, and continues indefinitely.
1.5 By activating the Card as described below, the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card user declares that they have read these Terms and Conditions, understand and accept their content, and undertake to comply with them.

§ 2. General information about the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card

2.1 The Gift Card is a prepaid type card, serving as a cash equivalent, issued to the bearer, enabling the purchase of goods and services from the commercial offer of Ostoja Chobienice at any point within the facility.

2.2 The Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card may optionally have an attached decorative document in the form of a Voucher based on individual arrangements, whereby the monetary funds for the purchase of goods/services are exclusively on the Gift Card, and the Voucher is purely symbolic (decorative).
2.3 Under the program covered by these Terms and Conditions, Ostoja Chobienice clients can activate Gift Cards with a value not less than 100 PLN and not exceeding 2,500 PLN.
24 The funds corresponding to the balance of the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card account are not subject to interest accrual.

§ 3. Purchase of the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card

3.1 The Gift Card can be purchased by both individual clients and institutional clients wishing to pay via bank transfer.
3.2 Individual clients can purchase the Gift Card directly at the Main Reception of Ostoja Chobienice by paying with cash, accepted debit or credit cards, or under certain conditions, by bank transfer.

3.3 Institutional clients can purchase Gift Cards directly at the Main Reception or by sending an order to the email address: recepcja@ostojachobienice.pl and make payment by bank transfer.

§ 4. Activation of the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card

4.1 The condition for using the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card is its activation by making a payment at the Main Reception of the facility in the amount selected by the Card user within the limits specified in point 2.3 of these Terms and Conditions or by bank transfer for the purchased Gift Cards in the amount selected by the Card user within the limits specified in point 2.3 of these Terms and Conditions.
4.2 The Card is valid for 12 months from the date of its activation.

4.3 The validity period of the Card cannot be extended

4.4 The Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card user is obliged to inform the next user to whom they transfer the Card that the Card can only be redeemed within the Ostoja Chobienice facility, is not exchangeable for cash, and has an expiry date after which it cannot be redeemed (point 4.3 of these Terms and Conditions). Information about the expiry date of the Gift Card can be obtained at recepcja@ostojachobienic.pl. This information is also indicated on the card holder.

§ 5. Rules for using the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card

5.1 The Gift Card may only be used after activation, at all sales points within Ostoja Chobienice participating in the program.
5.2 The Gift Card is issued to the bearer. Redemption of the Gift Card by its user constitutes a valid transaction even if the user obtained the Card unlawfully.
5.3 The Card is not exchangeable for cash.
5.4 Payment with the Gift Card is made upon presenting the Card at the cash register of the participating point. Upon purchasing goods and services available in the Ostoja Chobienice commercial offer, the Gift Card balance will be reduced by the amount due for the sold goods.
5.5 If the funds on the Gift Card are insufficient to cover the full amount due for the purchased goods or services, the Card user may cover the difference with another payment method.

§ 6. Liability and complaints related to the Ostoja Chobienice Gift Card

6.1 Ostoja Chobienice is not responsible for Gift Cards lost or damaged after issue to the purchaser.
6.2 Ostoja Chobienice does not allow the purchaser or user of the Gift Card to report loss or block the Card.
6.3 In the event of loss, destruction, or theft of the Gift Card, the user has no claims against Ostoja Chobienice.
6.4 All complaints related to Gift Cards will be handled by the Issuer in writing within 30 (thirty) days from the date of written complaint submission by the Card user. Complaints can be submitted at the Main Reception or by mail to the above-mentioned company address.

6.5 These Terms and Conditions do not exclude the Issuer’s liability to the Card user arising from mandatory applicable law.

6.6 It is recommended to keep the Gift Card away from devices emitting electromagnetic fields that may damage the Card.
