"You are a miracle"

I am a believing priest and this is the greatest treasure I want to share with others. It is precisely thanks to faith and the hope flowing from it that I can gift every person I meet with the gift of love. Perhaps imperfect, perhaps sometimes overshadowed by the problems of everyday life, but still alive, pulsating, bringing hope for a better tomorrow, because "there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear" (1 John 4:18).

Serving at Ostoja brings me great joy. Ostoja, which is probably the only place in Poland, or perhaps in the world, that is not only a place of rest for the body but also for the soul. Daily Eucharist, service to others through the sacrament of confession, and being there for another person is the source of my greatest happiness. To serve with the sacraments, a kind word, and sometimes just a shy smile. I am always willing to meet with you. I will always find time for you for a conversation or confession.

Father Jacek SDB, who actively supports people who stutter, created the Source of Ostoja. He himself is undergoing therapy. As he emphasizes, it has given him the opportunity for fuller priestly ministry. In January 2023, Father Konrad, also undergoing stuttering therapy, joined Father Jacek. Together they served at Ostoja and Ostoja Youth in Godziszewo until August 2023, when by decision of the religious authorities, Father Jacek was transferred to a new station. Father Konrad serves guests and staff of Ostoja with sacraments, kind (although slow :)) words, and simply by being there for another person.
