The Lubuskie Military Museum in Zielona Góra, located in Drzonów, was established in 1985, and its seat is a 19th-century palace.
It houses several thousand exhibits, which are displayed in permanent outdoor and pavilion exhibitions. Unique items include: two SU 152 self-propelled guns, a turret from a BS-64 light armored car, a 1942 Chevrolet 8421-C15A truck, a single-seat "Iskra" Ts-11 200BR aircraft, and a prototype Mi-2M2 helicopter.
The palace showcases a collection of weapons, uniforms, decorations, and banners from the medieval period to modern times.
The museum is affiliated with the Society of Fortification Friends and the Lubuskie Branch of the Reserve Officers Association of the Republic of Poland named after Marshal Józef Piłsudski. A true treat for visitors is the Fortification Open-Air Museum.
