The Wooden Churches Trail of the Kozł Region is primarily educational in nature and is aimed at lovers of beautiful folk architecture. The trail features three wooden Gothic-Renaissance churches charming with their harmonious shapes and rich interiors.
The trail running through Klępsk, Kosieczyn, and Chlastawa is about 23 km long and is best explored by bike or car.
The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Klępsk was built between 1367 and 1377. It is a single-nave sacred building with a narrower presbytery, featuring an added post-constructed tower and a brick sacristy.
The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Chlastawa was erected in 1637 and is considered a "Class 0" monument. Together with the bell-gate and the former cemetery, it forms a beautiful sacred complex with unique historical values.
The Church of Saints Simon and Jude Thaddeus in Kosieczyn was built around 1408 and is the second oldest wooden church in Polish lands, after the church in Tarnów Pałucki.
